The Seeker (film)

January 12, 2009

I watched this film/movie last night on Star Movies my parents’ bedroom. I failed to watch the first scenes of the movie/film, because my family and I ate late dinner, because, my parents went to my mother’s tito’s house in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

I do remember that there’s a local radio station here in the Philippines, which had advance screening of the aforementioned film/movie. I forogot which local rasdio station. Click here for the movie, and here for the boos series by Susan Cooper. And also, click here, because The Dark Is Rising Sequence is one of the analogues of J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter.

Blood Diamond (film)

I watched this film twice. The first/1st time was one/1 of the cinemas of Gateway Mallwith my family. The movie released here in the Philippines last year, I forgot what date. The second/2nd time as in/on HBO last Saturday evening at 9 p.m on my parents’ bedroom.
The film/movie is about and “the title refers to blood diamonds, which are diamonds mined in African war zones and sold to finance the conflicts and profit the warlords and the diamond companies across the world. The film was nominated for five/5 Academy Awards including Best Actor (DiCaprio) and Best Supporting Actor (Hounsou).”
The other nominations of the movie/film are:
I didn’t realized that the actor Stephen Collins of the TV series 7th Heaven, and the actor Arnold Vosloo of the movies The Mummy andThe Mummy Returns, until I watched film/movie. I didn’t know that the actor Ntare Mwine, the actor who plays Ututsu in the NBC TV show Heroes, is also included in this movie/film and until I recognized him and his voice. His name in the film/movie is M’Ed.

I took these photos using my Nokia 7210 Supernova this morning, 10:45 a.m. Both photos are in Normal mode.

Two/2 reasons (why) I took these photos: I would like to share these photos; and the other reason is I would like to know what would the reactions and comments of people.
