Nokia 5110 and Nokia 5110i

January 18, 2009

The very first (cellular phone/cellphone/mobile phone) I had is Nokia 5110i. I had this cellphone eight/8 years ago, in Greenhills. I brought the cellphone with my parents, but they paid it. They gave it to me as a graduation gift. My graduation is held on PICC on Saturday. We bought the cellphone, though my parents paid it.

Nokia 5110 and Nokia 5110i has the same features, except for, and the only difference between the two/2, is the small i in/on Nokia 5110i. Yes, except for, and the only difference between the two/2, is the small i in/on Nokia 5110i, btewwen except for, and the only difference between Nokia 5110 and Nokia 5110i.

Now, I am currently Nokia 3230 as my primary cellphone, and Nokia 7210 Supernova as my secondary cellphone.

My two/2 cents regarding the 66th Golden Globe Awards.

January 13, 2009

I forgot that yesterday is the broadcast telceast of the 66th Golden Globe Awards. I don’t know why. I spoiled myself because I visited Wikipedia page of the 66th Golden Globe Awards, learned that the movie Slumdog Millionaire won the Best Dramatic Film nod/award, and the multi-awarded Alec Baldwin-Tina Fey starred-tandem TV series, 30 rock. I didn’t dare to what award/s 30 Rock won, because I don’t what to be spoiled. Until I checked the website the Philippine area of Star World.

I have these options:

A) I will watch the prime time show, if I failed to watch the live broadcast/telecast.

B) If A didn’t happened, I will watched the show online.

C) If options A and B didn’t happened, will ask my older brother to download the show via torrent.

D) if options A, B, and C didn’t happened, I will visit the Wikipedia page of the 66th Golden Globe Awards.

What happened is I watched the prime time show, because my parents and my oldest brother watched the show with me.

The Seeker (film)

January 12, 2009

I watched this film/movie last night on Star Movies my parents’ bedroom. I failed to watch the first scenes of the movie/film, because my family and I ate late dinner, because, my parents went to my mother’s tito’s house in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

I do remember that there’s a local radio station here in the Philippines, which had advance screening of the aforementioned film/movie. I forogot which local rasdio station. Click here for the movie, and here for the boos series by Susan Cooper. And also, click here, because The Dark Is Rising Sequence is one of the analogues of J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter.

I credit some of the information to Wikipedia. And also, I credit the movie poster to Wikipedia.

Stardust (2007 film)

January 9, 2009

Last Wednesday evening, I decided to watch this film with my parents and my oldest brother, wherein that he gave the DVD of Stardust last Christmas of last year. One of the characters of the film and I share the same name, but on the contrary, I will not mention our name. This is the first movie I’ve watched this year, and first film based on one of Neil Gaiman’s novels. At first, I thought that Neil Gaiman was an American, until I visited an aerticle about in Wikipedia that he is from England. And also, when I was on Powerbooks Megamall, I saw a copy of Neil Gaiman’s Stardust novelwith some scenes from the movie, and the novel’s front cover, spine, and back cover was in movie-tin edition.

I almost enjoyed watching the movie. Because, in Chapter 9 of the movie, went wrong, my theory is that there’s something wrong or two with the DVD although/though I enjoyed the movie. I don’t know if I will buy a Stardust DVD or not.I don’t know if I will buy the novel or not.

The movie stars Claire Danes, Rober De Niro, Michelle Pfeifer, Peter O’Toole, and Rupert Everett. And I credit tje movie poster to Wikipedia.
